Real Whipped Cream

Instructions

  • Sift the confectioner’s sugar.
  • Place the cream in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
  • Add pure vanilla extract.
  • Whisk on medium speed until it thickens up a bit.
  • Start pouring the sugar into the cream.
  • Continue to whip until soft peaks form, about 3 minutes.
  • Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours, covered.
