Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, beat together the butter and both sugars, on medium-high speed, for 5 minutes.
Add one egg and beat for 60 seconds.
Add the second egg and vanilla extract. Beat for 60 seconds more.
Scrap down the sides of the bowl.
Add the flour. Mix on low speed just until combined.
Refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes.
Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
Drop the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough by the tablespoon onto the tray.
Bake until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes.
